BlizzardCraft's 2.0 patch is planned to be deployed on Friday, December 2012. This patch will include many changes, and new features along with a map reset. A couple of new features will be announced to keep you players excited. 
- New plugin: Blizzard Newbie Protection
- Protects all new players from PvP, for their first thirty minutes on BlizzardCraft.
- Original Death Messages
- BlizzardCraft's original death messages are back! These messages include the item a player was killed by during PvP, making these messages unique. Many new messages have been added too.
- Example: Notch grabbed their Mob Spawner and gave Jeb_...

- Updated to 1.4.5
- Minecraft 1.4.5 update changes
- Fixed spawning baby wolves from wild ones
- Spawning baby villagers creates a random profession.
- Fixed last page of /help missing
- Fixed entering IPv6 servers crashing the client
- Clients now get the correct IP for LAN servers
- Fixed the incorrect positions of some particles[1]
- Mostly a client-side update, thus staying at protocol version 49 (1.4.4)
- No server update is necessary.
- Fixed the bug whereas dispensers would always dispense northeast (the diagonal between f 1 and 2), previously introduced in 1.4.3
